Rebecca Black vs Wilbur Sargunaraj

If you have not seen this viral of Rebecca Black a 13 year old girl, take a look at it here. She got huge hits(28,468,328+) and trending in twitter for her first video song ‘Friday’. Not because the song is so good, but people hate her and the song so much. Well, I love this music and this song. It might sounds hilarious with those lyrics. But I still like it 🙂

Yesterday was Thursday, Thursday
Today i-is Friday, Friday (Partyin’)
We-we-we so excited
We so excited
We gonna have a ball today

Tomorrow is Saturday
And Sunday comes after…wards
I don’t want this weekend to end

Some one in Twitter said If you like this music, you got no taste. After all music should make you feel happy, relaxed, at times should make you laugh and make you forget all your tension right? This song got something catchy.  If a 32 year old Wilbur Sargunaraj can sing so funny, makes you happy, why not a 13 year old Rebecca Black can do that? 🙄 If you read the Wilbur Sargunaraj song’s lyrics you will burst out of laugh. Even US people love him a lot, you can see them dancing with him at some of his parties. He’s so funny, make you laugh and dance. He is so popular and even featured in Wall Street Journal’s blog. He was referred as India’s Youtube star, and referring himself as simple superstar, Tamilnadu Superstar etc. This guy got lot of talents. His first song ‘Please check my blog’ is my favorite 😛 Check it out here…

Friendship day wishes to everybuddy ;)

Happy friendship day to all. I was in a very good mood last week and this friendship day will add more reasons to celebrate. So let’s party 🙂

One of my friends got an email from a customer like this

” I called you people several times. But why nobuddy responding”   LOL 😀

So just thought of changing everybody as everybuddy 😛 Hope you all like that.

Children and their fun

You might have wondered the presence of mind, memory power and how fast the children catch the things happening around them. I have experienced many times these things from my niece and nephew.

I remember the difficulty I felt to memorize one or two poems during my 6th grade 🙄  Now my niece who is in L.K.G recites 14 poems(includes English, Tamil, Hindi) continuously. They do not find it difficult. Sometimes they will play by standing in a table. When I said be careful and the reply is ” Risk edukarathu ellam enakku rusk sapdra mathri ” 😛  My sister always wonders about  their conversation in English with their friends. It was very funny and nice to see them conversing in English. One day while I talk to them over phone, I asked “Enna panra” and she said “Phone pesitu irukken” 😆

My nephew who is just 2.5 years old is very naughty and funny. Few days before while I was talking to him over phone.

Me : Dei enna panra?
Nephew:  Dei! mama… Dei solla koodathu thappu…
Me: ?!?! 🙄

(At the end of the call)
Me: Ok say Good night.
Nephew: Ok bye! Good Night! Fine. Thank you. see you…

It is always fun to talk to them. I’m wondering what I did in my childhood.

Rottikallu tour

Finally I got some time to write this post. Myself with my colleagues went to Rottikallu a resort in western ghats of Karnataka. We have started from chennai on February 12 night, by train and reached Bangalore on Feb 13  morning . From Bangalore we started in a cab. It took around 5 hours from Bangalore to Rottikallu. In the meanwhile we had breakfast in a Highway hotel. Reached rottikallu around 11.30 a.m. Roads from sakleshpur to Rottikallu was very bad. Nearly 1okms there was no road.

The climate was moderate. We started with some  water sports? which was like playing in a Jungle river. Then a small trekking(my first time) to check out the sunset. But clouds spread and hide the beautiful scene. Next day we went for a 12km(up & down) trekking. The thrill was when we get down. The path was awesome! It is like a jungle where small  water stream was flowing with the dense forest. Excellent experience! Then we went to a waterfall which was 30 mins travel from Rottikallu. We played cricket(me after a longggg time), volley ball, some unnamed funny sports which we discovered 😛 Then we had campfire with some weird and funny games we played and our typical antakshari with some snacks and drinks 🙄 Lot of fun with the mixture of songs.

Next day (Feb 15) we left Rottikallu and started to historical temple Belur and Halibedu temple. Belur temple was built in 16th century and such incredible sculptures. Wow! the work was amazing! There are sculptures with men and women with dresses that we worn today considering it as modern 😉 There was a sculpture in a war field  two men(I forget whom) fighting both of them Holding bow with arrows, you can see that in one of the pictures here. When he send one arrow it turns into multiple arrows and attacks the enemy. This is what we do in graphics and they did in 16th century which shows it may be real.  This temple  has a prototype which they built before they built the main temple. Halibedu temple was 60% destroyed  before independence but it was beautifully maintained with lawns. But still hold some beautiful sculptures. We started to Bangalore to Chennai on Feb 15 night and reached chennai on Feb 16 morning.

Ithu thaan doctor nadanthathu!? 😛

Looking back 2009

Well, 2009 been a great year for me.  Let me look back as what happened in 2009.

Jan/Feb/March Apart from January, other two months February, March was good. March is the month I joined a computer course and started looking for a better job. Job hunting helped me to explore the Chennai more.

April/May/June During April in our college we had graduation day! It was great to see the college and friends after a break for one year. We have worn overcoats 😛 and received our degree. Job hunting continued with more interviews more disappointments. I was frustrated with those interviews. Some organization asked to work for a low salary which is lower or equal to salary of a ATM security people getting 🙄

July/August/September Crucial time period for me in my career. I was looking for a career rather than a job. Most employers said the same dialogue ‘indru poi nalai va’ We’ll get back to you. One employer was much worse. He said I was selected and next day he said still candidates are coming and after two days he said I was rejected.  In some organizations I’ve even waited more than a month to get a response. Damn it! If you don’t want to select you have to say that directly to the candidate or you have to send an email stating as rejected. Because instead of waiting that these people will call us we can try something else.

But fortunately I got a chance to attend interview in a great organization. It was a great interview and a unique interview experience. After some 3 rounds of interview and waited for another month…. No reply from them. So thought I was rejected…

October/November/December Some day in October I was called for another 2 rounds of interview in the same company and finally announced as selected. It was one of the great times in my life. On Nov 18 I joined in my new job which has everything and event more than that I expected in a work environment.  This is what we call exceeded expectations.  The work culture which exactly suited my requirement. Everything is great now. And, today on my 23 birthday I’ve sponsored a child through Worldvision.

On this quarter I started exploring Twitter more. Really twitter is making a big impact. It becomes such a powerful social networking tool. Now it’s become a powerful marketing medium for enterprises. Most of the people are addicted to twitter like anything. Including celebrities like priyanka chopra, Genelia, Chetan bhagat(who was attacked by lot of people in twitter base on his tweets regarding pirated books)  most of the people starting and ending their day in Twitter. Starting from Good Morning tweeps to Good night Tweeps. Ivunga good night sollati yarum thoonga matangala 😛 some people tweeting almost everything they are doing! Like ‘I’m eating  food’, ‘I’m in lavatory now ‘ 😳 These people have to read this 10 things you have to stop tweeting about . OMG!! I don’t know where it’s going to end!

If you wanna check your addiction on twitter you can try this I’ve created a Toondoo about twitter addicts. Check out!

Twitter Adict

BTW this Toondoo is a great tool for people who want to create toon. The one above is I my first Toon. The site is very good and very easy to create toons. You can expect lot of such toons in my future posts.

This is what happened so far in 2009 and my life is really Awesome these days and I wish the same in the future. Alright! I wish everyone a great and happy new year ahead! 🙂

Balaji XP

experience

Today is my first anniversary of my corporate life. 08/08/08 is when my corporate life started. Today 08/09/09 I’m sticking in the same company and almost like a mad. Well after providing technical support to dumb customers I became mad. I had some issues in my laptop (I bought a new laptop  by the way 😛 ) speakers some month before, so reinstalled driver and it worked fine.  Then last month again no sound from my laptop speakers I checked all settings, restarted the laptop and checked still the same. Then I decided to reinstalled drivers and while reinstalling I noticed my small mobile head phone is connected to the laptop which caused everything 😛 Adapavi balaji ipdi ayitiye….. 😳 I scolded myself and laughed.

Three days before myself with my roommates shifted our home to a new home. It’s good a big house with 2 bedrooms. We have plans to cook by ourselves 🙄  Now I’m in job hunt, looking for a better change.

Gimme more!!

I have received fwd mails from my friends about the fun happen with customers during technical support. Initially I thought that these are just created by some one for fun. But as I’m working in tech support I came to know and realized by myself. Believe me friends these are absolutely true. Everyday we’ll have such customers. Most of the customers are like this. I don’t want to tell you from some one else exp. The following are the funny conversation that happened in mine and my friends calls. These are happened exactly. Enjoy..

More than this happened.  But this is what I remember

In the same time we have some customers who are more friendly, tech savvy and more flexible to us. They follow the instructions exactly and co operate with us to solve the issue right away. If you resolve their issue some times they will shout in Joy and even say ‘ I love you’ .  Lot of frustration and fun everyday!! 😛
